Medical Discovery News – Taking a much closer look at metastasis

UTMB’s David Niesel and Norbert Herzog take a look at a new device that will help scientists to gain a better understanding of metastasis, the ability of cancer cells to dislodge from their original location and migrate to other tissues. Most people who die of cancer are victims of this process. Hopefully the new device wil lead to new interventions or therapies that could interrupt or prevent metastasis.
