It can be difficult for a physician who has taken a break from their practice to go back to work. In addition to needing licenses reissued and obtaining hospital privileges, a doctor also has to deal with changes in the world of medicine and drugs. This report includes a mini residency program offered at UTMB for doctors that need training on the latest medications, procedures, disease management and treatments. The program is offered as part of KSTAR physician programs at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
