UTMB researchers have developed successful new treatment against deadly Junin virus

A team of UTMB researchers report they have discovered a laboratory-engineered antibody which provides complete protection against the deadly Junin virus. Junin virus is the infectious agent responsible for Argentine hemorrhagic fever.
