A recent UTMB study found that non-antibiotic therapeutic medications may be helpful when it comes to addressing the growing problem of antibiotic resistance. While the drugs may provide one solution, researchers point out that patients can also help by not asking for unnecessary antibiotics when suffering from conditions that probably don’t need them.
