After a former boyfriend recently murdered a University of Utah student, experts are examining the case and asking if there were missed signs, which went unnoticed and could have prevented the crime. According to UTMB’s Jeff Temple, with no record of the former boyfriend specifically threatening physical violence against the student, she probably did not realize she was at risk.
