Most women are diagnosed early on if they are experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. ‘It’s very unusual for women to get past 12 to 14 weeks without knowing where the pregnancy is located, because most women will have had an ultrasound by then,” said UTMB’s Shannon Clark.
