Hope for fibromyalgia pain

Researchers led by UTMB’s Miguel Pappolla were able to reduce the pain of fibromyalgia patients with a well-known drug that targets insulin resistance. The discovery could dramatically alter the way that some forms of chronic pain can be identified and managed.
