The HPV vaccine that protects people from various cancers as well as HPV infection has become a popular target among anti-vaxxers. UTMB’s Dr. Abbey Berenson suggested four reasons why it’s generated such controversy. Some of these have to do a lack of understanding about the size of the risk from HPV infection and others are based more in questions of morality.
