Studies have linked long-term opioid use with low testosterone in men, but it has been unclear how many men taking opioids have been screened for low testosterone. Now a UTMB study has found the number of men screened is very low which is surprising given the link. The study findings were also reported by Newsbreezer, Medicine News Line, Science Magazine and Health Canal.
