World War I doctors from UTMB remembered for their service

A report on the recent dedication of Galveston’s newest state historical marker located on UTMB’s campus. The marker honors eight UTMB-affiliated physicians who served their country during World War I. “They represent service above self and that’s what we try to teach at the University of Texas Medical Branch to our students,” said Ben Raimer, president ad interim.
