UTMB opens new Care Closet

The local newspaper recently interviewed UTMB’s Rebecca Castro and Savannah Parks to learn more about the new Care Closet. The Closet is a basic pantry to meet the needs of families spending time with loved ones in the hospital that may be in need of a meal or clean clothes. “We want to be able to give people comfortable clothes to wear,” Parks said. “We’re most in need of underwear and socks for men, women and kids.” [See the attached file for the full text of the story.]
