UTMB adds beds, triage centers, braces for virus cases

Plans by UTMB to address a projected surge in hospitalizations because of COVID-19 were outlined yesterday on a conference call with local reporters hosted by ad interim president Dr. Ben Raimer. “Success in playing hockey is knowing where the puck is going to go in the next few seconds,” said Raimer. “We’re trying to look at where the disease is going to go in the next few weeks.
