Stobo An article in the Austin American-Statesman on Thursday carried the headline “Seton announces ‘school’ for doctors, nurses, other health professionals” when referring to the Clinical Education Center (CEC) at Brackenridge. Given persistent rumors that UTMB is moving to Austin, I’m writing to clarify what this training center is, and what it is not. The CEC is not a health professions school. It’s a training site for Austin-based students enrolled in a medicine, nursing or health professions program offered by Austin Community College, Concordia University, the University of Texas at Austin or UTMB. « Back | The Newsroom »
