Houston Chronicle, Dec. 28, 2006With a nod to the hit television game show Deal or No Deal, the Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County recently spotlighted local nonprofit organizations and their contributions to the community. Nonprofits recognized by the chamber were the AABY Foundation, American Legion, Concerned Citizens of East Montgomery County, Destiny's Door, Family Time Foundation, Friends of the R.B. Tullis Library and HEART of Montgomery County. Others honored were Montgomery County Youth Services, New Horizons, Splendora Founders Day, the Arrow Project, Salvation Army, University of Texas Medical Branch Health Clinic, Village Learning Center, East Montgomery County-Lake Houston YMCA and CERT Emergency Services.
