Houston Chronicle, Feb. 1, 2007 A dentist under contract for the state prison system was indicted in Liberty County on a charge of violating the civil rights of a person in custody. Investigators said Isaiah Leaneu Harris Jr., 55, had sexual contact with a female inmate. Harris, of Missouri City, who had worked nearly two years at the Plane State Jail in Liberty County, has resigned. He was employed by the University of Texas Medical Branch to work at the state jail near Dayton from November 2004 until his resignation in August 2006. His job had been to provide dental care for the 1,800 female inmates.
