Theater stages message for bullies March 12, 2007 Houston Chronicle, March 9, 2007 HOUSTON -- Main Street Theater has taken on one of today's most pressing issues among children: bullying. "Bullying is everywhere," says Vivienne M. St. John, Youth Theater Producing Director at Main Street. Beginning in 2005, Main Street Theater assembled an advisory committee of Houston's experts on bullying, including representatives from the Anti-Defamation League, DePelchin Children's Center, ChildBuilders, University of Texas Medical Branch, North Shore Middle School, and Cobb Junior High School to discuss the bullying epidemic and determine the best way to encourage discussion about it with teachers, students and parents. « Back | The Newsroom »
