Galveston County Daily News, April 11, 2007 Letter to the editor GALVESTON -- In regard to Dolph Tillotson's column, "One UTMB candidate stands out" (The Daily News, April 8): You bet. My wife and I, as pathology residents at the University of Texas Medical Branch (1977-1981) often interacted with Dr. Courtney Townsend in conferences and surgery. We always found him to be very professional and pleasant to everyone, regardless of "societal status." We still have fond memories of him as part of our UTMB experience 25 years later.
