Houston Chronicle, April 11, 2007 GALVESTON - Dr. Gary D.V. Hankins is the new chairman of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He served as vice chair for 11 years and was named interim chair when Dr. Garland Anderson was appointed UTMB dean of medicine in October. Hankins has been named one of America's Top Doctors by Castle Connolly Guide for four years.
