Galveston County Daily News, May 7, 2007 Letter to the Editor In regard to the story, "Kids' program director prepares for exit" (The Daily News, April 30): Galveston's loss is San Antonio's gain. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. James Lukefahr, first when he was a resident here in the late '70s and then upon his return to Galveston directing the ABC clinic for child victims. His expertise and careful findings have contributed to the safety of children in our community and holding offenders appropriately accountable. He has been a true leader among the multidisciplinary team of professionals in the child-abuse field, and I am honored to have been one of his colleagues. Trudy Deen Davis Galveston
