Galveston County Daily News, May 9, 2007 GALVESTON - The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston appointed Dr. Peter M. Hoffmann as assistant vice president for clinical activities and chief medical officer. The appointment was effective March 1. Hoffman will serve as a member of the executive team of hospitals and clinics administration. In addition, he will hold a faculty appointment as a clinical professor in the department of Internal Medicine.
