Galveston County Daily News, May 10, 2007 DICKINSON - A 2-year-old boy was recovering at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Wednesday after an accidental fall into the family swimming pool, the boy's father reported. Frank Garza said his son, Mason Taylor Garza, managed to climb a pump on the side of the above-ground pool. A report issued Tuesday by the Galveston County Sheriff's Office had said the boy climbed a ladder. When a 3-year-old boy who was with Mason alerted Garza, he jumped into the pool to retrieve the boy, and then began CPR. His wife then took over performing CPR until paramedics arrived, he said.
