HOUSTON -- Six administrators representing the largest hospital systems in Galveston and Harris counties talk about their priorities and health care issues such as the crisis of the uninsured, pricing comparisons, and creating a great place to work Excerpt from Dr. Sexton's remarks in response to the question "What is the number one item on your agenda in 2007 and how are you addressing it?" DR> SEXTON: We are committed to improving patient and staff satisfaction and will do so through creating service excellence and further developing our clinical enterprise. We must create good systems that allow patients to have easy access to healthcare, when, where and how they desire it and we must have employees who are proud of the work they do because they do great work. However, the bottom is that we must have good financial health. It is no myth: there must be a margin to have a mission!
