Trevino, age 57; EXPERIENCE: Currently professor of health management and policy at the University of North Texas, where he was the founding dean of the School of Public Health at the university's Health Science Center in Fort Worth from 1999 until this year; professor, chairman of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine's Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, part of the University of North Texas Health Science Center, 1996-2000; dean of Southwest Texas State's School of Health Professions, 1991-93; director Center for Cross-Cultural Research and associate professor of preventive medicine and community health at the University of Texas' Medical Branch Galveston, 1986-91; senior scientist, American Medical Association, 1984-86; social science analyst, National Center for Health Statistics, 1980-84.
