UT Southwestern ranked No. 1 for medical schools, followed by Stanford University School of Medicine. Other Texas schools on the list were the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, ranked fourth, the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, ranked fifth and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, at seven.
