Sherman Herald-Democrat, Sept. 22, 2007 Dr. James E. Blankenship, a Sherman native and 1959 Sherman High School graduate, was awarded one of four distinguished student awards Saturday. Blankenship is Ashbel Smith Professor of Neuroscience and Cell Biology.
