Older adults to learn about spirituality and health September 25, 2007 For immediate release: Sept. 25, 2007 GALVESTON, Texas - "Spirituality and the Health Connection" is the topic of a free presentation scheduled for October in Texas City and Galveston by the Senior Services Office at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Kay Sandor, an associate professor in the School of Nursing, is the speaker. The presentation is part of the Circle of Life lecture series for older adults and family members. The seminars are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. For those who register, a box lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. There is no charge for lunch. Here is the schedule: Wednesday, Oct. 10, at First Presbyterian Church, 1112 Seventh St. N., in Texas City. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at William Temple Episcopal Center, 427 Market St., in Galveston.
