GALVESTON, Texas — Senior Services at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is hosting a free lecture in two communities in February. Michelle Sierpina and Alisha Goldberg will speak about “Lifelong Learning … Learning for the Fun of It!” The presentation is part of the Circle of Life … Transitions lecture series for seniors and family members. Sierpina is founding director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UTMB and Goldberg is associate director.

The lectures are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. For those who register, a box lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. prior to each lecture.

The first lecture is Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Third Coast Fellowship, 2121 Sixth St. North, in Texas City.

The lecture will also be presented on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 5127 Avenue U, in Galveston.
