Galveston County Daily News, Nov. 16, 2007 The commuter rail link to Houston that Galveston leaders have coveted for years is feasible, cost-effective and not as unlikely as people may think, according to a transportation study presented to the city council on Thursday. The Galveston end of the line would stop at both the Shearn Moody Plaza building and at a new station north of Harborside Drive near UTMB.
