mediLexicon, Nov. 19, 2007 The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy has received a $2.2 million federal grant to develop therapeutics to suppress the cravings of cocaine addicts. Kenneth Johnson Jr. and Kathryn Cunningham, both professors in UTMB's Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, are currently conducting tests in animal models at UTMB.
