Valley Morning Star, Dec. 15, 2007 In a Letter to the Editor, L.L. Webb of Rio Hondo wrote, "It was reported in the Dec. 3 Star that UTMB may stop providing cancer treatment to undocumented immigrants because the medical branch is going broke and laying off some 381 people because of medical inflation. Perhaps some of these intuitions are wising up. We need to adapt a system in all walks of life here in the United States that if you're going to play, you've got to pay. Hospital or grocery store, the same applies."
