GALVESTON, Texas - "Caring for the Caregiver ... it Takes a Village" is the topic of a free presentation scheduled for January in Santa Fe and Galveston by the Senior Services Office at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Judy Drew, a professor at UTMB's School of Nursing and a Fellow at the Sealy Center on Aging, is the speaker.
The presentation is part of the Circle of Life lecture series for older adults. The presentation is open to anyone regardless of age.
The seminars are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. A boxed lunch is available for $3 for those who make reservations. Here is the schedule:
- Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 13217 FM 1764, in Santa Fe.
- Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Moody Memorial First United Methodist Church, 2803 53rd St., in Galveston.
