Austin Business Journal, Feb. 1, 2008 The University of Texas System may be moving forward more quickly than originally anticipated with its consideration of a feasibility study prepared by UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas on a potential medical school in Austin. An official with the UTMB says it's not clear what role, if any, UTMB may play in a possible Austin medical school.
