Daily Texan, Feb. 11, 2008 With Aggie officials moving ahead on a planned medical school in Round Rock, the UT regents are working very hard to not show their own medical school hand. When UT-Medical Branch Dean Sam Shomaker asked for a UT-affiliated medical school in Austin by 2011 last year, the UT System issued a statement distancing itself from the idea.
