Branch of Dallas medical school ‘most likely' option for Austin, UT System says February 13, 2008 Austin American-Statesman, Feb. 13, 2008 An Austin branch of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is the "most likely" option for establishing a medical school in Austin, and a decision on whether and how to proceed could come in four to six months, according to the head of health affairs for the UT System.
