AUSTIN, Texas - Dr. Charles A. Rockwood Jr. will speak on ethics, orthopedics and industry at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the Thompson Auditorium at the Texas Medical Association, 401 W. 15th St., in Austin.
The lecture is free and open to the medical community. Attendees are encouraged to come at 5:30 p.m. for a reception prior to the lecture.
Presented by the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, the lecture is the sixth in a series of ongoing medical updates. Rockwood will discuss federal policies relating to industry and physicians.
Rockwood is professor and chairman emeritus of the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
