Houston Chronicle, March 18, 2008 The burns suffered by a baby whose father is accused of putting her in a microwave oven were so deep that most of her left ear was amputated and she may lose significant use of her left hand, according to testimony Monday by Dr. Art Sanford, a burn surgeon at Shriners Burns Hospitals for Children at Galveston.
