Grand Rapids Press, March 18, 2008 Dr. Howard Brody wrote in a blog that he recently became depressed by the frequency with which news accounts of scientific discoveries in U.S. medical centers contain bare-faced lies. "The lies are not there because scientists are natural liars or even because media reporters are liars. Rather, we, the U.S. taxpayers, have forced these lies into the mouths of the scientists."
