Galveston County Daily News, March 21, 2008 Thursday was Match Day, when graduating medical students all over the country learned where they would go for residency, the last leg of their medical training. The atmosphere in Levin Hall was more like a pep rally than a somber ceremony as 194 members of the UTMB class of 2008 celebrated by shaking pom-poms, waving noisemakers and cheering.
