Galveston County Daily News, April 3, 2008 Many groups from UTMB will participate in Saturday's Grand Kids Festival in downtown Galveston Saturday. Participating as part of UTMB's Healthy Fun Tent are the Butterfly Project, Cancer Center, Center for Weight Management, Children's Health, Community Health Services/Community Outreach Relations, Coastal Area Health Education Center, Emergency Services, Harborview Sleep Lab, UTMB Police, Regional Maternal and Child Health Program, Southeast Texas Poison Center and the Student Caring Clowns Troupe. UTMB President David L. Callender and Teri Weinglein-Callender are honorary co-chairpersons of the event. (Link unavailable.)
