Houston Chronicle Bay Area, April 10, 2008 Frontera de Salud, a program at UTMB that provides health care to some of the poorest people in Texas, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a free conference. "Breaking the Silence," an evening of music and theater taken from real-life stories of domestic violence, will be performed in Galveston, League City and Texas City. Junior and senior undergraduate students majoring in science, math or education are encouraged to apply for paid positions as counselors at science summer camps sponsored by UTMB. The alumni association of the School of Nursing presented its distinguished alumnus award and inducted four members into its hall of fame at its annual awards presentation at Moody Gardens.
