Houston Chronicle, April 13, 2008 Divonne Emmitt, who was severely burned in a fire that killed her husband and eldest son, has died. Even though she was making excellent progress at UTMB's Blocker Burn Unit, the emotional toll proved to much as she succumbed to an infection that could not be treated with antibiotics.
