Galveston County Daily News, April 14, 2008 The alumni association of the UTMB School of Nursing presented its distinguished alumnus award and inducted four members into its hall of fame. Darlene "Cheyenne" Martin received the Rebecca Sealy Distinguished Alumnus Award. Kathy Lawrence received the Betty Lee Evans Nursing Excellence Award. Patricia Morgan, Ellen Fineout Overholt, Tangula Taylor and Patricia Gray Turpin were inducted into the hall of fame. (Link unavailable.)
