Houston Chronicle Bay Area, May 1, 2008 School of Nursing professors R. Jeanne Ruiz and Elizabeth Reifsnider have received grants from the National Institute for Nursing Research. Five UTMB medical students - Shera Carlson, Yu Lee, Gloria Li, Co-May Nguyen and Francisco Pastar-Shirazi - have been selected for the Medical School training in Aging Research Program at the Sealy Center on Aging. The dermatology department will host a free skin cancer screening on May 10.
