Guidry News Service, July 9, 2008 Dr. Don Powell, director of the General Clinical Research Center will attend the AGA Institute Clinical Congress of Gastroenterology and Hepatology: Practical Solutions for the Practicing Gastroenterologist, to be held in January. "Featured at this clinical congress will be the first Don Powell Lecture, named in recognition of (his) many years of exemplary service to the profession," said Charles E. Willis, vice president of education and training for the AGA Institute in an announcement of Powell's participation in the congress. The meeting will be Jan. 23-25, 2009, in Las Vegas.
