Houston Chronicle Bay Area, July 3, 2008 Vincent J. Loffedo has been appointed associate vice president for university student services at UTMB. Also, Drs. Purushothaman Madhu and Amalia A. Geller have joined the faculty of the pediatrics department. Madhu will serve as an assistant professor in the division of general inpatient pediatrics. Geller is an assistant professor in the division of pediatric neurology. Enrollment is open for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute's Summer School 2008 at UTMB. Free seminars will be conducted in July and August at several locations in Galveston. Classes are open to anyone 55 and older.
