KLBJ, July 1, 2008 AUSTIN - All doctors should be able to converse in Spanish when they get out of medical school. That's the belief of Statewide Health Coordinating Council Chairman Ben Raimer. Raimer is senior vice president of health policy and legislative affairs at UTMB. His comments came before a legislative hearing that also examined the severe shortage of nurses, doctors and pharmacists in Texas.
