With wider education comes wisdom July 21, 2008 Galveston County Daily News, July 20, 2008 UTMB's Dr. Ahmed Ahmed, in this guest column, praised Robin Lowe, the former principal at Friendswood Junior High, who lost her job after she arranged for a presentation about Islam after a Muslim student was bullied, harassed and thrown into a trash can. Ahmed wrote: "To be prepared for the future, our children should be exposed to and erudite about different social, cultural and environmental issues around them.
