Clinic for adults with chronic conditions to open September 8, 2008 Galveston County Daily News, Sept. 6, 2008 UTMB's School of Nursing and St. Vincent's House are offering a health clinic for uninsured adults with chronic health problems. The St. Vincent's Nurse-Managed Health Clinic is scheduled to start serving patients by mid-September. Kathryn Fiandt, associate dean for graduate programs and clinical affairs at the nursing school, is quoted: "Nationally, there's been a fairly big movement for schools of nursing to start their own practices.
