KTRK-TV (Ch. 13, Houston), Nov. 18, 2008 The actual layoffs will begin today as individual workers meet with department heads. The hospital will be downsized to 200 beds, one-third of its current number. It will keep its labor and delivery unit, burn unit and transplant program.
