Galveston County Daily News, Nov. 24, 2008 Several letters to the editor about the reduction in force at UTMB present numerous points of view, including one that states that thousands of people, former UTMB employees, soon will be added to the list of indigent patients seeking care at UTMB; criticism of the UT Board of Regents; and one letter from a Texas Monthly writer disputing previous assertions that one of his articles influenced state officials to proceed with the reduction in force.
